UNIVERSITY FILM STUDENTS : INNOVATION IN LOCKDOWN
Film and game students in the UK, Europe and US are using Stornaway.io to work collaboratively and remotely on interactive narrative and experimental projects, adding vital future skills to their CV’s and showing their work at film festivals.

A young woman awakes from her dreams to only be welcomed by her harsh reality. Stuck in an abusive relationship with her boyfriend, she finds something which urges her to leave. How far will she go to end it all?

Dr Roy Hanney, Course leader in media production at Southampton Solent University worked with Level 5 Media students to make 6 interactive films in one semester (in lockdown). 3AM is one of them..
SEVEN CIRCLES

A ‘handover’ project by a class of 1st-year film students at American University in Washington DC. 14 students each wrote and directed a short in lockdown, handing a prop or line of dialogue over to each other. One group of 7 designed a story world they called the ‘circle of hell’, with 7 interconnecting films – at the end of each, you get a choice to view one of 2 related shorts to watch next. ‘Have a Cracker’ is the first of the 7 - keep watching to find your way through the Circles of Hell!
