Nasi

2021

Directed by Xiaoting Tang

Nasi, a Lahu female hunter who has a lifetime goal - to catch the “divine bird”, has to suffer big changes in life because of the “hunting ban”. By chance, she becomes popular on the internet and is invited to perform hunting for tourists as "the last female hunter" of the Lahu tribe. Different from real hunting, it requires a lot of exaggeration. Eventually, during one of the shows, the sound of the "divine bird " comes up to Nasi, which she has long waited, and the moment she draws her arrow, she must choose a way of living for the rest of her life.
